It pairs lens-grade optical glass with NiSi’s latest ULRC coating and a new sharpness-focused technique, so images stay clean, contrasty and sharp on 800mm lenses and beyond, even on 100+ megapixel bodies.

It also cuts UV light below 395nm to reduce atmospheric haze over long distances, so far-off subjects look clearer. A solid brass frame threads on smoothly and resists the warping and jamming that can affect lighter frames. It is machined so your lens’s original cap still fits over the filter, which means you can leave it on between shoots.
