The NiSi 112mm Circular Filters for Nikon Z 14-24mm has been designed to work with the custom NiSi Lens Hood for Nikon Z 14-24mm F/2.8 S with 112mm Filter Thread. The Nikon HB-97 allows light to enter from behind the lens and is not suitable for long exposures, so NiSi has designed a lens hood with NO light leak for better performance with ND filters and long exposures.
Each of the NiSi 112mm filters have an ultra-slim frame to ensure no vignetting, are made from the highest quality optical glass for optimal image quality, maximum light transmission and even light distribution.

NiSi Lens Hood for Nikon Z 14-24mm f2.8S with 112mm Filter Thread
The NiSi Lens Hood for Nikon Z 14-24mm f2.8S with 112mm Filter Thread is a redesigned lens hood for the Nikon Z 14-24mm f2.8S to replace the HB-97 included with the lens. The Nikon HB-97 allows light to enter from behind the lens and is not suitable for long exposures, so NiSi has designed a lens hood with NO light leak for better performance with ND filters and long exposures. The NiSi Lens hood features the same flower-shaped design with the dimensions matching the Nikon HB-97 lens hood and includes a 112mm filter thread compatible with NiSi’s 112mm circular filters for Nikon 14-24mm. The hood features a locking screw that will keep the hood attached to the lens to add safety and security.
Please note this lens hood is ALSO compatible with the Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S and Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S. It allows the use of 112mm filters across all three lenses.
NiSi 112mm Circular NC UV Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm
NiSi’s ultra-thin UV filter adopts a double-sided, multi-coating lens technology that employs high-quality ultraviolet absorption optical glass. It assures high transmittance and a highly smooth surface that avoids unnecessary reflection. The frame is constructed from Brass using highly accurate brass milling. The NiSi 112mm Circular NC UV Filter has an exclusive “U” type anti-reflective Nano coating and a hardened waterproof coating. The filter cut the UV light below 365nm and features 9 layers of Nano coating on each side of the filter. The transmittance of the UV filter is extremely high at 99.3%.
The UV filter is also useful as a general protective filter to leave on lenses at all times. Filters help to reduce dust and moisture from reaching your lens element and provide additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur.
NiSi 112mm Circular True Color Pro Nano CPL Filter for Nikon Z 14-24mm
The NiSi True Color CPL is designed to reduce glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces, increase saturation and vibrancy in the sky and foliage while ensuring true color reproduction is at its best by eliminating the warming effect that many polarisers create. Our True Color CPL removes the warm tone seen with other brands of CPL filters and provides a closer true color representation of the scene. The True Color CPL features a unique two-tone frame with a silver back ring, black front ring and both are made from high-quality aluminum. NiSi’s True Color CPL utilizes Cine seal technology which blackens the edge of the CPL for added durability. This technology reduces the influence of temperature fluctuations and keeps out condensation.
A Circular Polarizer Filter helps to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. The light from the sun naturally becomes partially polarized due to reflecting off electrons in air molecules, causing the light to scatter into what appears as haze. A polarizing filter arranges, and filters, this directionally polarized light perpendicularly to the reflected light, allowing for the absorption of much of this light. This results in a noticeable reduction of glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of skies, foliage, and allows the camera to capture what is under the surface of shallow water.
Our proprietary NiSi Pro Nano Coating helps to reduce unwanted reflections and provides a waterproof and scratch-resistant layer to assist in the cleaning of unwanted fingerprints, dust, and water stains.

NiSi 112mm Circular NC NDs (3-, 6- or 10- Stop) Filters for Nikon Z 14-24mm
The NiSi 112mm Circular NC NDs are designed to reduce the amount of light entering the camera by 3, 6 or 10 stops. This filter is made from high-quality optical glass with nano coating to prevent losing any single bit of detail. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and provides a reduction in light entering the lens.
The ND Filter creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control the depth of field and convey movement in your images. By using neutral density filters the camera is vulnerable to infrared light which will cast the unwanted red color to the photos when shooting at a small aperture. The added infrared protection coating layer to this filter helps to eliminate the infrared light through the lens to bring back the natural color.

These filters also have an exclusive “U” type anti-reflective Nano coating and a hardened waterproof coating.
What each density is typically used for
- ND8 (3 Stop) – The ND8 3-stop is commonly used for waterfalls and capturing water flow at shutter speeds from 0.5 seconds to 2 seconds.
- ND64 (6 Stop) – The ND64 6-stop ND filter is generally used during the golden hour to create exposures of 1-2 minutes for smooth water or clouds. A 6 Stop is also great for capturing dynamic water while retaining some texture before the golden hour.
- ND1000 (10 Stop) – The ND1000 10-stop is used during the day outside of golden hour as the bright ambient light requires much more ‘light blocking’. These can prolong exposures for up to 5 minutes during golden hour with the appropriate settings.
