The NiSi 65 PRIME 16mm T2.9 is an ultra-wide large-format cinema prime lens designed for demanding professional productions. Built with an imaging circle close to 65mm, this lens covers ARRI ALEXA 65/265 Open Gate and FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55, delivering an extremely wide field of view while maintaining strong optical performance across the frame.
The 16mm T2.9 delivers outstanding centre-to-edge sharpness, excellent chromatic aberration control and minimal distortion, making it ideal for large-format cinematography, architectural scenes, wide establishing shots and creative near-subject compositions. Its bright T2.9 aperture gives cinematographers greater flexibility in low light, while the close focus distance of just 0.25m allows for bold wide-angle perspectives with strong visual impact.
Designed for professional cinema workflows, the lens features a PL mount, standard 0.8 MOD cinema gearing, a 300° focus rotation and luminescent markings for easier operation in low-light environments. Despite its large-format coverage, the lens remains compact and lightweight at only 846g, with a 95mm front diameter, making it suitable for studio, handheld, gimbal and rigged camera setups.
