Leofoto WN-03 Professional Car Window Stabilizer

The Leofoto WN-03 Professional Car Window Stabiliser creates a solid support platform for photographing or filming wildlife from a vehicle. It is ideal for long lenses, cameras, spotting scopes and binoculars when a tripod is impractical or you need to remain safely inside the vehicle.

Unlike a conventional clamp that places weight directly on the window glass, the WN-03 uses two padded support arms to distribute the load across the vehicle door and window-frame area. Its aluminium construction, protective leather coverings and rubber contact points provide excellent stability while helping to protect the vehicle’s finish.

Choose the Right Tripod Head

The WN-03 includes a standard 3/8″ mounting stud but does not include a tripod head. Choose your head according to the intended application:

• Ball head: A versatile choice for still photography and general wildlife use.
• Fluid video head: Recommended for smooth, controlled panning and tilting while filming wildlife.  Roger de la Harpe pairs the WN-03 with the BV-15 Fluid Video Head.
• Gimbal or long-lens head: Suitable for larger telephoto lenses where balanced movement is important.

Ensure that the chosen head is correctly rated for the combined weight of your camera, lens or optical equipment.

Vehicle Compatibility

The WN-03 fits many SUVs, bakkies, passenger vehicles and safari vehicles, but compatibility depends on the shape of the door, window frame and surrounding bodywork. The padded arms must make secure contact with suitable structural surfaces and should never place the equipment’s weight directly onto the window glass.
