Kupo KCP-834 Big Ben Half Coupler – Barrel Clamp, 28mm Junior Spigot, 48–51mm Pipe

A half coupler, also called a barrel clamp — it closes around a 48–51mm scaffold bar, lighting bar or truss tube and gives you a fixing point on it. Kupo also call it the Big Ben. The 28mm (1-1/8") junior spigot underneath is the larger of the two standard studio pegs, so it carries heavier fixtures than a 16mm baby stud will. Maximum load 200kg.

Made from 6061-T6 high-strength aluminium alloy, with a curved inner wall that grips truss without scarring the surface. The wing nut runs on a screw whose end threads are deliberately deformed, so the nut cannot spin off and drop while you are working overhead. The body is 50mm wide, and it takes two hands and a spanner to hang and tighten.
