Kupo 121 Grant Snap Stand 12ft – Quick-Release Click Stand

A 12ft light stand that folds flat and clicks onto the next one. The patented interlocking mechanism links stands together in a snap, so three travel as one bundle instead of three loose stands — Hence the term "click stands".

The centre column detaches from the base and becomes a boom stick: 1.05m closed, extending to 3.47m, and 1.77kg on its own. Plant it, hold it, or hand it to an assistant to get a light in where a tripod base will not fit. A spring lock in the side of the pole twists to lock it into the base, and holds until you press the release button.

Aluminium alloy throughout, 3kg all in, and it carries 9kg to a full 3.66m. The stand top is a 16mm (5/8") baby stud welded rather than pinned.

Dual struts on every leg, assembled with nuts and bolts instead of fixed rivets, so it can be tightened and serviced rather than replaced. The die-cast aluminium riser carries a stainless heli-coil insert so the threaded hole cannot strip, the knobs are cast aluminium on stainless bolts, an oversized brake shoe gives a positive lock-off, and the feet are padded to protect both the legs and the floor.
