Kupo KCP-550 Adjustable Gaffer Grip – Spring Grip Clamp with Two 16mm Studs

A lightweight aluminium-alloy spring clamp for mounting lights, reflectors, polyfoam and production accessories. A knob sets the minimum opening of the mouth, so you dial the jaws to the size of what you are gripping. Twelve rubber pads across the jaws hold tight without marking the surface.

Two mounting points. A fixed 5/8" (16mm) baby stud, and a detachable steel universal stud (KS-017SB) seated in a baby receiver, carrying a 1/4"-20 male thread on one end and a 3/8"-16 on the other. Removing the universal stud reveals a baby receiver, which takes the male baby stud on a fixture or arm.

The jaws open from 1" to 2.56" (25–65mm). Being sprung, it goes on and off one-handed — quick when you are re-rigging.

Note: for anything thinner than 25mm, or where you want the clamp locked at a set width rather than sprung shut, consider the larger KCP-500, which closes down to 16mm.
