The viewing filter works just like an ND filter to protect your eyes by reducing the amount of light to help you determine the position of the lights or sun. NiSi Viewing filters are made of aviation grade aluminum with optical glass. Silicone eye cups are designed to prevent light leaks.

Their IRND’s, Rotating Polarisers and Mist Filters have been in use on sets across the globe for multiple years now with nothing but positive feedback. Our experience here in SA has been the same, with plenty of sales to production and gear houses and only great feedback.

Availability & delivery times

Demand for cinema filters is extremely sporadic. We typically carry two full sets of IRND’s, two full sets of Black Mist, multiple rotating CPLs and one full set of grads. Unlike the stills filters which sell at a steady pace and makes it easy to manage stock, it is common for our entire shelf of cinema filters to be purchased unexpectedly for a large production or a gear house replenishing their fleet.
