Slope ICU’s are so called as they feature pro depth on the one end, which slopes to shallow depth on the other end. The medium slope ICU is great as it allows upright storage of large lenses like a 24-70mm or 16-35mm on the deep end and optimal storage of shorter lenses on the shallow end. The sloping ICU also leaves more space in the backpack, allowing storage of things like a laptop in the laptop sleeve and clothing in the front external pocket, without bulging the backpack into an enormous turtle shell.
