NISI Filters Competition Top 39

Entries have closed for our NISI Filters Beauty of Water photography competition. Judging is under way and we have been able to select a top 39 images from all the received entries. We’re not quite sure how we ended at 39, but that seems to be where the cut off was for the final selection.

Images will be judged on the following criteria for a total score out of 100.

  • Composition – 15/100
  • Light – 15/100
  • Editing – 15/100
  • Originality – 15/100
  • Relevance to Water Theme – 40/100

All images are judged by Paul Bruins and Hougaard Malan. A big thank you to Paul for his help with the judging work. You can see more of their work by clicking on their names below.

A big congratulation to Niel van der Westhuizen who wins one of the two 3rd prizes for his image of the Theewaterskloof trees in the drought, which got the most likes without much contest. He wins a V5 Pro Holder System with any 100mm filter, valued at R6000.00.
