It’s fully compatible with the JetMag Pro 95MAG range, so you can still swap between ND, CPL or mist filters in moments as the scene changes. At just 140g, it keeps handheld gimbal setups easy to balance and use.

Highlights

Matte interior and removable carbon fibre top flag control flare, ghosting and contrast

Fully compatible with all JetMag Pro 95MAG filters

Keeps the fast magnetic filter attachment and safety lock

Supports cinema lenses with a 95mm front diameter

Just 140g for easy balancing on handheld gimbals

Airflow channels on both sides reduce wind drag

Three matte box adapter rings included (82, 86 and 95mm)

JetMag Pro made filter changes fast, but without a matte box, stray light from the sun or practicals can hit the filter glass and cause flare, ghosting and lost contrast. This matte box blocks that light, while its matte interior absorbs reflections to reduce flare and keep contrast even across the frame. The carbon fibre top flag adds shade from overhead light and comes off quickly by loosening a single lock screw.

To mount the matte box, screw the supplied matte box adapter ring that matches your lens’s filter thread onto the lens. These rings have a thicker edge for the matte box to clamp over, so standard JetMag Pro adapter rings won’t work. Slide the matte box frame over the adapter ring, level it to the horizon and tighten the silver lock screw on the clamp. Open the flag and secure it with the silver flag lock screw, then snap on any 95MAG filter or filter stack. Engage the safety lock on your filters before shooting. For cinema lenses with a 95mm front diameter, use the 95mm clamp-on cine lens adapter instead of a threaded ring.

Compatibility and what’s in the box

In the box:

NiSi JetMag Pro Matte Box

Carbon fibre top flag

82-95MAG, 86-95MAG and 95-95MAG matte box adapter rings

Matte box bag

Compatible with:

All NiSi JetMag Pro 95MAG filters

Lenses with 82mm, 86mm or 95mm filter threads, using the supplied matte box adapter rings

Cinema lenses with a 95mm front diameter, using the 95mm clamp-on cine lens adapter (sold separately)

Lenses as wide as 15mm on full frame without vignetting, with one JetMag Pro filter fitted (excludes the True Color VND)

Please note: Standard JetMag Pro adapter rings cannot be used to mount the matte box.

Using 82MAG filters?
